Delayed detection or missed diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias deprives affected people of numerous potential benefits and imposes unnecessary physical and emotional burdens on their caregivers. It is important to make a diagnosis as early and as specific as possible.

The Memory Disorder Center at Palm Beach Neurology provides, at no cost,
memory screens to the public. 


Memory Screening Criteria

Screening is for individuals 50 years of age or older. It is recommended that you be accompanied by someone who can provide information about your memory. 



Memory Loss Check List 

Are you having problems? 

   -Keeping track of personal belongings 

   -Remembering words, names & places 

   -Remembering recent events 

   -Keeping track of dates and locations 

   -Handling money

   -Driving the car


Is AD or dementia causing 

   -Aggression, Agitation, 

   -Disorientation Depression, 

   -Delusions or Hallucinations
